Project Manager – Infrastructure (Water Projects)
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our busy and expanding Infrastructure business, supporting our clients to deliver a range of water projects and programmes across the Midlands and Central South.
Responsibilities
- Lead project management commissions, taking responsibility for end‑to‑end service delivery.
- Provide support on major Project Management Commissions, managing an aspect of service delivery.
- Ensure that client objectives are met and projects are delivered on time, within cost targets and to the appropriate quality standards.
- Manage projects within the £1m to £10m range, or larger when in a supporting role.
- Lead the project team effectively and develop strong relationships with clients and cross‑functional team members.
- Discharge general line management responsibilities where appropriate.
- Identify and act upon business development opportunities with existing and new clients, including cross‑selling.
- Monitor the internal financial status of all projects and cascade key information and data effectively.
- Adhere to SOX control responsibilities and any other applicable compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Civil engineering background, ideally with previous water sector experience.
- NEC accreditation (level 3/4) preferred.
- Certification as chartered/qualified with ICE, APM, RICS or similar professional bodies.
- Degree qualified in a construction‑related subject.
