From your first day you will work on complex programmes across air, land, sea, cyber and space, supporting clients in delivering major projects that enhance national capability. You will be based in your local office, working in a hybrid model and collaborating with colleagues and client teams across the UK.

Security Clearance
Due to the sensitive nature of the work, candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain Security Clearance (SC).

Hybrid Working
You may collaborate with colleagues at the following locations:

  • Home
  • A Turner & Townsend office
  • Client sites across the region (weekly basis)

Travel will be required, typically 2-3 days per week.

Responsibilities
We are looking for experienced Quantity Surveyors with a strong track record in major construction, infrastructure or civil projects to deliver high‑profile programmes for a leading UK infrastructure client in the ports and logistics sector and other key national clients.

Qualifications
Proven experience in quantity surveying or commercial management within major construction, infrastructure or civil projects.
Strong commercial acumen and ability to work within complex stakeholder environments.
Strong understanding of procurement, contract placement and post‑award management.
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
Experience with NEC and JCT contracts.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Desirable Skills
Awareness of UK Government procurement frameworks (QDC, DSPCR, PCR).
Professional qualification (RICS, CICES, CIPS) or working towards it.
Proficiency in cost management software (e.g., CostX, CATO, Excel).
Experience in bid writing or evaluation techniques.

Additional Requirements
British National.
Valid UK passport.
5-10 years of continuous UK residency, depending on the level.
SOX control responsibilities may apply and must be adhered to where relevant.
