Owing to continued demand and our ambitious plans for growth, Turner & Townsend are looking to recruit Cost Managers with a proven track record and experience across the Energy, Power and Infrastructure sectors. Your experience of setting up and delivering major projects programmes will be key in delivering on our clients’ ambitions. As a Cost Manager at Turner & Townsend you will be offered the opportunity to work with high‑profile clients, develop your consultancy skills and diversify your sector experience. We support hybrid working and also consider part‑time applications.
Job Objectives- Suitably qualified & experienced operating at Cost Management level
- Administer a variety of contracts in accordance with project objectives and policies.
- Provide accurate project cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting to completion in line with budget.
- Pro‑actively monitor and manage cost variance and contract cash flow, ensuring applications are made correctly and timely.
- Collaborate with client and contractor teams to manage delivery of project deliverables, KPIs and objectives, including programme performance, cost control and value engineering.
- Manage contract change effectively, ensuring projects remain within governance and best practice.
- Drive improvements in the accuracy of forecasts and budgets.
- Ideally Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant subject
- Ideally hold or be working towards an appropriate professional body membership or equivalent.
- Contract Management (NEC3, Option C or NEC 4 preferred)
- Experience working on Major Programmes and Projects
- Experience working on Infrastructure (Rail, air, marine/ports, utilities highways) or Energy projects (Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Wind or Carbon Capture)
