We are looking for high‑calibre leaders to support our clients in delivering a wide range of high‑profile projects across infrastructure, to be leaders in the industry and to mentor the next generation of Project Managers.
Location: Manchester office, North West region. The only boundary is your imagination.
Key Responsibilities- Lead business initiatives and a broad range of projects and programmes across low‑carbon, clean energy and transmission distribution sectors, such as small modular reactors, battery energy storage, carbon capture schemes, and the Great Grid Upgrade.
- Manage multiple disciplines, teams, advisors and clients on infrastructure or energy projects/programmes across the lifecycle, setting strategy and challenging assumptions.
- Set high standards, manage performance and utilise people and resources efficiently to meet and exceed stakeholder expectations in ambiguous and challenging environments.
- Champion health, safety and wellbeing for the teams under your responsibility and apply CDM principles across projects.
- Innovate solutions to client challenges, drive sustainable outcomes and foster inclusive teamwork and collaboration across T&T and clients.
- Build and maintain long‑term trusted advisor relationships with clients and industry partners.
- Coach, mentor and develop the people around you, encouraging learning and nurturing emerging potential.
- Significant experience managing multiple disciplines, teams, advisors and clients on infrastructure or energy projects/programmes across sectors and lifecycle.
- Excellent leadership skills, capable of setting high standards and managing performance against stakeholder expectations.
- Practical understanding of CDM and experience applying it across teams.
- Strong interpersonal, stakeholder management and partnership building skills, comfortable with diverse personalities.
- Creative, curious, growth mindset and a role model for inclusive environments.
- Experience of complex procurement and NEC or other contract management.
- Experience of managing contractors, consultants and other advisors on infrastructure and energy projects.
- Consultancy and/or client‑side project management experience.
- Degree in management, construction, infrastructure or equivalent.
- Professional affiliation with APM, ICE or equivalent institution.
- Project management certification (APM, PRINCE2, MSP, ChPP).
- NEC accreditation or qualification.
