We’re looking for a highly capable Performance & Reporting professional to join our growing team, supporting the delivery of complex programmes and projects. You'll work either as part of our wider Performance & Reporting team or independently, with access to experienced specialists for support. This is a pivotal role focused on ensuring robust reporting, driving insight, and enabling better decision-making for our clients.
What You'll Be Doing
- Performance & Reporting Strategy
- Lead the development and delivery of performance and reporting frameworks, tailored to client maturity and programme needs.
- Define and implement KPIs, performance metrics, and reporting hierarchies.
- Ensure best practice is embedded across all reporting activities.
- Implementation & Continuous Improvement
- Drive the roll‑out and adoption of reporting processes, systems, and standards.
- Select and implement appropriate reporting tools and governance frameworks.
- Continuously improve reporting capability, consistency, and quality.
- Delivery & Leadership
- Lead and support project controls and reporting teams across complex programmes.
- Ensure delivery of high‑quality, consistent, and insightful performance data.
- Manage reporting structures and oversee change control processes.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Insight
- Promote the value of effective performance reporting across project teams.
- Provide clear, actionable performance insights and recovery recommendations.
- Engage with senior stakeholders to support strategic decision‑making.
- Coaching & Development
- Support the development of clients and junior team members through training and coaching.
Qualifications
- Essential Experience / Knowledge
- A project controls related qualification (e.g. Project Planning & Controls).
- Proven experience delivering digital reporting activities in multiple complex projects.
- Demonstrable track record in configuring and supporting project reporting information systems.
- Practical experience of implementing progress reporting & forecasting.
- Progress measurement and performance analysis.
- A solid understanding of aspects of Project Controls (Scheduling, Cost Control, Change Control, Earned Value Management (EVM), interface with reporting).
- Experience working with Project Controls software (Primavera P6, Active Risk Manager, Ecosys or similar).
- Strong data analysis and visualization capability, using client based systems such as Microsoft software packages.
Security Requirements
Due to the sensitive nature of the work involved in our specialist defence projects, candidates will be required to hold, or be eligible to obtain, Security Clearance (SC). To meet the criteria for this level of clearance, applicants must:
- Be a British National.
- Hold a valid UK passport.
- Hold 5‑10 years of continuous UK residency, depending on the level.
SOX control responsibilities may apply to this role and must be adhered to where relevant.

- Client sites across the region (on a weekly basis)
There will be moments when in‑person collaboration is essential, and you will need to travel when required typically 2‑3 days per week.
