The predicted salary is between 54000 - 84000 £ per year.

Due to the continued success and expansion of the Data Centre Team in the UK, we are looking for Associate and Project Directors (Cost Management) with a proven background in the sector. The ideal candidate has a track record of managing large‑scale, complex Data Centre projects.

You will be self‑motivated and driven to establish Turner & Townsend as the #1 consultancy for Hi‑Tech construction projects across EMEA. As an Associate Director you will increasingly be responsible for developing and delivering a business plan for >20 % annual growth, working closely with country P&L owners to align sector ambition with business operations.

Responsibilities
  • Manage large‑scale, complex Data Centre projects across the EU.
  • Develop and execute cost management strategies.
  • Lead and mentor project teams.
  • Ensure compliance with European design, code requirements and industry trends.
  • Engage suppliers and contractors to deliver on time and budget.
  • Deliver accurate progress reports and forecasts to business leaders.
Experience
  • >10 years’ experience managing Data Centre or similar projects.
  • Established network with the industry supply chain.
  • Strong and current understanding of European design/code requirements and industry trends.
  • Proven track record managing large projects and/or programmes of work.
  • Experienced in variety of procurement methods and contract forms.
  • Multilingual candidates preferred (German advantageous) – excellent communication skills in person and written.
Qualifications
  • Degree qualified in construction and/or engineering.
  • Professional memberships desirable.
