Due to the continued success and expansion of the Data Centre Team in the UK, we are looking for Associate and Project Directors (Cost Management) with a proven background in the sector. The ideal candidate has a track record of managing large‑scale, complex Data Centre projects.
You will be self‑motivated and driven to establish Turner & Townsend as the #1 consultancy for Hi‑Tech construction projects across EMEA. As an Associate Director you will increasingly be responsible for developing and delivering a business plan for >20 % annual growth, working closely with country P&L owners to align sector ambition with business operations.
Responsibilities- Manage large‑scale, complex Data Centre projects across the EU.
- Develop and execute cost management strategies.
- Lead and mentor project teams.
- Ensure compliance with European design, code requirements and industry trends.
- Engage suppliers and contractors to deliver on time and budget.
- Deliver accurate progress reports and forecasts to business leaders.
- >10 years’ experience managing Data Centre or similar projects.
- Established network with the industry supply chain.
- Strong and current understanding of European design/code requirements and industry trends.
- Proven track record managing large projects and/or programmes of work.
- Experienced in variety of procurement methods and contract forms.
- Multilingual candidates preferred (German advantageous) – excellent communication skills in person and written.
- Degree qualified in construction and/or engineering.
- Professional memberships desirable.
