We are currently looking to recruit a P6 Planners / Planning Engineers with proven Infrastructure (Rail, airports, roads, power, water, utilities and Defence) sector experience to be based in our London office.Planning Engineers are responsible for all activities associated with the preparation and periodic progress reporting of Level 1 and Level 2 schedulesSupport the project teams with all planning related responsibilities associated with the management of their contracts and reporting requirementsParticipates and supports the project teams in project and programme planning and progress meetingsIdentifies and maintains programme / project milestone and schedule interface activitiesMAIN CHALLENGES OF THE JOB:Support the planning and scheduling processes that are required to manage contracts and contractor schedulesSupport the programmes progress and reporting requirementsMaintains up to date and accurate schedule interface requirementsAdherence to NEC contract processes for management of schedule data and submissionsMaintain an awareness of commitments and undertakings and support efforts to manage the requirements to avoid breach.QualificationsDegree qualified in a construction related subject preferredExperience in performing, monitoring, and reviewing planning and scheduling functions, which include schedule development, control, and analysis, in the field and the home officeSkilled in oral and written communicationProficiency with PC operating systems, with proficiency in several basic software applicationsProficiency with multiple discipline specific software applications such as Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Office Applications, for exampleIntermediate level of knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and start-up work processesKnowledge of engineering and construction managementAdditional InformationOur inspired people share our vision and mission.
