As part of our UK HR team, you will lead the HR service provision for Turner & Townsend across Infrastructure, Defence and Energy and Natural Resources.
Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver the People strategy in partnership with Turner & Townsend senior leadership team.
- Act as a trusted advisor to leaders and managers, providing robust commercial advice and guidance on policy and process, recommending appropriate solutions.
- Strong project management experience of end to end TUPE processes.
- Drive insights via data and reporting to inform business decision making.
- Shape, influence, manage and deliver a broad range of People projects, change initiatives and calendar activities, under the UK people strategy.
- Managing (direct and matrix) a team of People Business Partners and Advisors.
- Manage talent and succession planning with key operational stakeholders.
- Produce people related reports, in-depth data analysis and visual presentations and provide ad hoc management information to senior stakeholders.
- Resilient, adaptable with demonstrable experience of working in a small, fast-paced team environment.
- Highly organised and efficient with excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
- Desire to solve problems and strive for continuous improvement.
- Positive attitude and ability to influence and develop relationships with a variety of teams and individuals at all levels across the business.
- Constantly have an ear to the ground to develop commercial awareness, advance data and analytics skills and stay up-to-date with changes in employment law and industry best practice.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, balancing compassion with the ability to make difficult decisions when needed.
- Human resources degree or equivalent.
- Experience of People Business Partnering with senior management in a generalist HR role.
- Experience working in a fast paced and matrixed organisation.
