As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented Global Senior Digital Content Manager to join our Global Marketing and Communications team. This is a high-impact role at the heart of a global transformation. You will lead the development, governance, optimisation and performance of content across Turner & Townsend’s global web ecosystem, supporting brand positioning, thought leadership, lead generation, client engagement and talent attraction. The role is based at our office in the City of London.

Key Responsibilities

  • Website Content Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute a global website content strategy aligned to business growth objectives, sector priorities and marketing goals. Create annual and quarterly content roadmaps that combine optimisation of existing content with the development of new authority-building content and clusters. Identify and prioritise content opportunities based on client needs, user behaviour, business priorities and market trends. Develop and maintain a search-led content strategy that improves visibility across traditional search engines, LLMs and emerging search experiences.
  • Content Creation & Editorial Leadership: Create and upkeep of strategic website content, including market perspectives, industry trends and evergreen content to support SEO. Work with broader marketing team to develop authority-building content that strengthens Turner & Townsend’s visibility, expertise and relevance across key service areas. Translate complex technical content into compelling client-focused narratives as required. Uphold writing standards, brand style guides and tone-of-voice guidelines.
  • Website Management & Governance: Uphold and evolve as necessary governance processes, workflows and quality assurance standards. Lead content audits and ensure compliance with brand, legal, privacy and accessibility requirements.
  • User Experience & Digital Optimisation: Partner with UX, design and development teams (internal and agency partners) to support website redesigns and transformation initiatives.
  • SEO, AI Search & Analytics: Lead optimisation of priority service, sector and strategic content pages to improve organic visibility and commercial performance. Identify search opportunities and develop content recommendations, including topic clusters and supporting content designed to strengthen topical authority. Monitor performance, measure search visibility and provide strategic recommendations based on data and insight. Develop dashboards and reporting frameworks that track website, content and search performance.
  • Stakeholder Management & Collaboration: Build relationships with SMEs, sector leaders and stakeholders. Collaborate with regional content managers and external agencies.
  • Team Leadership: Coach and mentor website content professionals across our regions. Champion best practice and continuous improvement on the global website and regional localized sites. Line management of Digital Marketing Executive.

Qualifications

  • Essential: Extensive experience in digital content, website management or B2B marketing. Significant experience managing complex global websites. Strong writing, editing, SEO, analytics and CMS expertise. Experience influencing senior stakeholders. Line management experience.
  • Desirable: Professional services, infrastructure, engineering, construction or real estate experience. AI-assisted content development experience. Accessibility and digital compliance knowledge.
