Please visit our website: Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Senior MEP Cost Manager specialising in Data Centres to join our team in London. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing cost planning and commercial management activities for mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems on complex data centre projects. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain detailed cost estimates for MEP systems within data centre projects. Analyse and report on cost variances, providing recommendations to improve value and commercial performance. Collaborate with project teams to support cost-effective and efficient design solutions. Provide specialist advice and guidance on MEP systems and associated costs to clients and project stakeholders. Monitor and forecast project cash flow performance. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements and project procedures. Support the development of colleagues through mentoring, coaching and knowledge sharing. QualificationsBachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related fieldProfessional certification from a recognised body such as RICS or CIOBMinimum 7-10 years of experience in MEP cost management, with a focus on data centre projectsAdvanced knowledge of MEP systems and data centre infrastructureProficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., CostX, Causeway)Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detailExcellent communication and negotiation skillsProven project management expertiseIn-depth understanding of data centre design and construction principlesComprehensive knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to MEP systems and data centresDemonstrated experience in contract administration and procurementAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentStrong leadership skills with the capacity to mentor junior team membersAdditional InformationOur inspired people share our vision and mission.
