As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering Environmental Due Diligence consulting services to clients across our business. Senior consultants are responsible for leading more complex programmes of work and co-ordinating multiple projects for clients, demonstrating strong technical expertise in particular areas and providing mentoring support and management to more junior members of the TDD team.
You will report to Dan Hudson, and in some cases may line manage consultants or next gen talent.
In the role you will:
- Lead teams: Manage and motivate matrix teams of consultants to deliver high-quality projects, develop their skills, and achieve business growth targets.
- Deliver services: Deliver EDD consulting services to clients, including portfolio and asset level work.
- Business development: Build relationships with clients, colleagues and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for business growth.
- Service delivery: Manage services to meet the agreed client outcomes and the commercial targets we have set for the work.
Person Specification/Requirements
- A natural collaborator, able to foster and maintain relationships.
- Proactively seeks responsibility and opportunity to broaden and deepen both technical and non-technical skills to progress their career for the benefit of themselves and the TDD team.
- Good experience in leading client projects in a large business setting.
- Able to communicate concisely, clearly and articulately; and demonstrates natural ability to adapt their style to the audience.
- Able to manage client and stakeholders expectations and be proactive and positive in their outlook.
- Demonstrates and adopts a commercial/business approach in delivering financial outcomes.
- Can support in challenging and difficult conversations with colleagues and clients.
- Has +5 years' experience in Environmental Due Diligence.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, strong attention to detail.
