Knowledge and practical experience of working with the NEC contract management suite, in particular the PSC and ECC forms of contract, including working as a named Service Manager or Project Manager under the contract.
Excellent leadership skills, capable of developing teams and leading others in challenging environments or in ambiguity.
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, comfortable working with a diverse range of personalities across clients and partner organisations and able to build long‑term trusted advisor relationships with our clients.
Strong problem solving, analytical and numerical skills with an ability to quickly understand complex problems and shape these into workable solutions for delivery.
Drive and commitment to achieving solutions, including the ability to work under pressure and motivate others.
Planning, communication and organisational skills, including the ability to manage several work streams simultaneously and communicate effectively with senior client representatives.
Able to lead, manage and develop project teams on large projects or programmes.

Beneficial Experience:
- Experience of flood risk management and/or environmental outcomes project management for projects typically between £2m to £15m.
- Experience of procurement and managing NEC contracts.
- Experience of commercial management and working with commercial functions.
- Experience of working within multi‑disciplinary teams, managing contractors, consultants and other advisors on infrastructure projects.
- Experience of consultancy, contractor or client‑side project management.
- Familiarity with public sector organisations, non‑departmental or arm's length bodies relevant to infrastructure.
- Delivery within operational environments.
- Experience of Development and / or Delivery stages.
- Knowledge and experience of sustainability principles.
Qualifications:
- Degree or HND qualification in a management, construction or infrastructure related subject, or equivalent experience.
- Professional affiliation, qualification or near qualified status with the APM, ICE, CIWEM, or similar professional institution.
- Project management certification (APM/PRINCE2/MSP).
- NEC PM Accreditations or qualifications.
- CDM Awareness.
