Overview

In this role you will lead performance and quality across projects in the Natural Resources team, applying analytical and commercial skills to deliver reliable outputs for clients.

You will plan, execute, and escalate as needed, while building strong, professional relationships with clients and colleagues.

You will manage contracts with cost monitoring, forecasting, and change control to keep programmes on track.

You will drive KPI delivery, governance, and value engineering, and contribute to knowledge sharing and process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Own performance and quality with client-focused outputs
  • Plan and execute work, identify value-adding opportunities, escalate when needed
  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients to maintain professional relationships
  • Communicate clearly to support productive workflows
  • Administer contracts: cost monitoring, forecasting, reporting, change management, variances/cashflow control
  • Collaborate with client and contractor teams to meet KPIs, programme performance, cost control, value engineering
  • Provide commercial leadership: improve forecast accuracy and timely final accounts
  • Contribute to internal excellence: capture lessons learned, support knowledge management, suggest process improvements
  • Key requirements
  • Degree or HNC level qualification
  • NEC3/4 or FIDIC experience
  • Cost / commercial management experience on Energy or Infrastructure projects
  • Experience working on major programmes or project portfolios
  • Professional Chartership (preferable)
