Our Geomatics team is transforming how we understand and interact with the built environment. Utilizing state‑of‑the‑art technology, we capture spatial data with unparalleled accuracy, achieving precision down to 0.2%. Our surveys and reports adhere to the RICS Property Measurement Standard and form the foundation for architectural design and comprehensive Building Information Modelling (BIM).

This two‑year programme is designed for graduates who want to specialise as Land/Measured Building Surveyors. You will gain hands‑on experience with a diverse range of spatial data capture techniques, using the latest Land Surveying technology, across various market sectors. Throughout the programme we provide comprehensive support to help you achieve your Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) and attain membership with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

Responsibilities
  • Conduct on‑site surveys using tools such as total stations, GPS/GNSS receivers, laser scanners and drones.
  • Import, clean and process raw field data.
  • Analyse and manipulate data using specialised software (e.g., AutoCAD).
  • Generate reports and perform analysis to identify issues, calculating areas, volumes and other relevant measurements.
  • Create detailed plans, sections, elevations and 3D models of buildings and sites.

Qualifications
  • Academic credentials: currently studying or on track to achieve a 2:1 in an RICS‑accredited geospatial surveying, mapping or GIS degree. Students from a Geography degree are also welcome, on track for a 2:1.
  • Technical acumen – understanding of building surveying and genuine interest in the built environment.
Other Requirements
  • For some regional roles, the ability to drive may be necessary due to the location of client offices.
  • To be considered for Defence roles, you will need to pass a Baseline Personnel Security Standard check and UKSV SC clearance after accepting an offer.
  • SOX control responsibilities may be part of the role where applicable.
