Senior Consultant (w/m/d) Real Estate - Performance in Glasgow

To deliver CDM and H&S consultancy services from our Glasgow office to existing and new clients. The scope of services delivered by the role-holder are flexible, dependent upon the Client's requirements, covering both CDM and H&S Management.

The key requirements of the role are to:

• Understand the Clients' needs and proactively identify solutions to their challenges.
• Ensure consistent delivery of service excellence in meeting their needs and expectations.
• Understand and develop existing systems and processes to improve both CDM and H&S efficiency.
• Provide expert advice and where required, act as Principal Designer and help the client manage and understand their legal responsibilities, in accordance with CDM regulations.
• Establish positive relations with existing and new Clients to gain confidence and become a trusted advocate.
• Represent Turner & Townsend in a professional and diligent manner including meeting, negotiating, and corresponding with Clients in a timely manner.
• Manage all commissions, where responsibility is assigned, to ensure both Client's expectations/scope of service and the requirements of Turner & Townsend's business management system are effectively discharged.
• Carry out H&S performance reviews, audits etc. on behalf of the Client.
• Liaise, proactively and professionally, with SHQ, and wider Turner & Townsend colleagues to contribute to team effectiveness; support others as needed and ensure consistency, quality and profitability of shared projects.
• Compile and create relevant pre-construction information and relevant H&S files.

Qualifications:

• NEBOSH Construction Certificate
• Full UK driving licence
• NEBOSH Diploma Level (or equivalent)
• GradIOSH or equivalent
• Membership of the APS
• Experience as a Principal Designer
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to effectively plan and organise own workload to meet deadlines
• Extensive knowledge and experience within the Construction Industry, specifically around the CDM Regulations
• Experience of a diverse range of industry sectors desired, with a proven ability to meet Clients needs would be an advantage.
