The Cost Management team in Glasgow is expanding. We are seeking a Cost Manager to join an innovative and dynamic team, working on industry-leading Energy projects. As a Cost Manager at Turner & Townsend you will work with high‑profile clients, develop consultancy skills, and diversify sector experience. We support career progression both personally and professionally. Hybrid working is supported and part‑time applications are considered.
Job Objectives
- Administer a variety of contracts in accordance with project objectives and policies.
- Provide accurate project cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting to completion in line with budget.
- Pro‑actively monitor and manage cost variance and contract cash flow, ensuring applications are made correctly and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with client and contractor teams to manage the delivery of project deliverables, KPIs, and objectives, including programme performance, cost control, and value engineering.
- Manage contract change effectively, ensuring projects remain within governance and adopt best practice.
- Drive improvements in the accuracy of forecasts and budget.
Qualifications
- Experience working within the renewables sector, hydrogen, carbon capture.
- Degree or HNC level qualification.
- Knowledge of NEC 3 / 4.
SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
