Our Glasgow office are looking to further grow their Project Controls Team and are currently recruiting a Project Controls Engineer to support projects across a variety of sectors, including energy, renewables, defence, rail and utilities. This is an exciting opportunity for you, as Project Controls Engineer, to be part of our successful Project Controls Team. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients to deliver best practice Controls, Planning, Analytics, and Reporting, Risk, Change, Resource and Performance Management Solutions.
As a Project Controls Engineer with a Planning bias, you will be an excellent communicator, ensuring engagement and interaction with the schedule to maintain momentum towards successful accomplishment of project objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Collating progress data from multiple teams to update project/programme schedule in Primavera P6
- Collating cost data from multiple teams to support budget requests & update cost report
- Preparing monthly reports measuring progress against baseline
- Supporting the Project Controls Manager on governance & assurance of Project Controls processes
- Typically, a qualified graduate in a relevant discipline with some experience in a project control environment.
- PCE’s should be proactive, self-starters with well-developed communication and analytical skills.
- Experience of working in a project or programme management environment, with responsibility for delivery or controls of individual projects, programmes or portfolios.
- Experience using controls/general software applications such as Primavera (P6), Power BI, Microsoft Office Applications.
- Reliable with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Strong time management skills, quick thinking, and ability to meet project deadlines as necessary.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
- Demonstrated understanding of Project Controls concepts.
