Responsibilities
Responsible for implementing client-side construction assurance planMonitor and verify that contractors implement approved construction methodologies, QMS and ITPs Provide assurance that construction works are delivered safely to required quality and compliance with design, technical standards, contract requirements and regulatory obligationsMonitor construction progress against the accepted programmeConstruction Management Plan oversight and acceptanceAct as client representative on siteProduce assurance reports to leadership and regulatorsCapture lessons learned and drive improvements in construction quality, safety and deliveryManage and support any safety incidentsQualificationsExtensive construction experience in managing and assuring construction delivery on major programmes.
Degree in Engineering, Construction management or related discipline (or equivalent experience). Chartered status (CEng, MCIOB, MRICS, MICE) or equivalent (desirable). Recognised HSE and environment qualifications (desirable). Ability to work collaboratively within a large project team, including construction managers, contractors and supply chains to ensure compliance with technical standards, specifications and contractual obligations.
Ability to demonstrate a commitment to service excellence, be committed to delivering to agreed quality standards. Experience in construction assurance, and quality management. Knowledge of construction methods, risk management and safety requirements. Ability to produce assurance reports for the wider team, including senior stakeholders.
