Turner & Townsend's Real Estate Advisory team helps organisations make confident decisions about their estates, infrastructure and major capital investments. We work with clients across defence, government, healthcare and infrastructure to define investment needs, shape strategic programmes and develop robust business cases that support funding and delivery decisions. Our expertise spans estate strategy, business cases, benefits management, investment assurance, programme definition and stakeholder engagement, helping clients maximise value from complex investment programmes.
As demand continues to grow within the defence sector, we are seeking consultants who enjoy solving complex problems, working with senior stakeholders and helping shape major investment decisions from an early stage.
You will support clients in defining and developing major estate and infrastructure investment programmes across defence and the wider public sector. Working alongside specialists in business cases, economics, finance and programme delivery, you will help clients understand their investment needs, define successful outcomes and develop evidence-based recommendations that support strategic decision making.
Assignments may include:

No two projects are the same, but you will regularly work with senior client teams to bring clarity and structure to complex investment challenges.
What You'll Be Doing
- Working with senior stakeholders to understand strategic drivers and investment objectives
- Facilitating workshops to identify needs, priorities and desired outcomes
- Supporting the definition of scope, success criteria and investment requirements
- Supporting option identification, development and appraisal
- Defining benefits and supporting realisation planning
- Developing HMT Green Book compliant business cases for our public sector clients
- Developing compelling investment proposals for our private sector clients
- Producing high-quality reports and presentations for senior decision makers
- Supporting governance, assurance and approvals processes
- Working with multidisciplinary teams to shape major capital investment programmes
