Please visit our website: Job DescriptionWe have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Risk Management Professional/ Director to join our busy and expanding Scotland Infrastructure Risk team who are supporting a range of high-profile Infrastructure Projects, Programmes and clients. The role will involve supporting the development, management and leadership of our Scotland Infrastructure Risk team in addition to feeding into our national risk management community. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of risk management in Scotland, influencing client strategy, internal capability, and market positioning. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESLeading/working in project delivery and Turner & Townsend business operations, responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: Lead: Manage and delegate activities of the Risk Management team on complex projects or programmes. Communication with Senior Management / Stakeholders to deliver updates. Briefing the team on the project scope to ensure roles and responsibilities are understood. Line management activities including career development and performance management. Drive: Continuous improvement in Risk Management (and interfacing disciplines) processes to create efficiency and increasing benefits to our clients. The implementation, embedding and roll-out of any identified changes to Risk Management processes. Promote: The benefits and requirements of Risk Management within the project and programme team. Expert analysis (e.g. to relevant stakeholders and senior management, supporting effective decision making. Training and coaching to clients and less experienced team members on Risk Management processes and practices. Support: The management of the risk management team and associated business operation activitiesTurner & Townsend's recruitment activities to grow and develop the project controls capability. The national and regional Risk Management communities including Community of Practice. You set high standards and manage performance to ensure we do better every day. You understand the operational requirements of the business and support its management as requiredA UK driving license or the ability to travel to client sites across the region, as required, is essential. QualificationsTangible experience in managing and delivering Risk Management on complex projects/programmes is essential. Experience of interfacing with other project disciplines is essential. Experience in leading Risk Management teams is essential. Practical experience of several risk standards or approaches (ISO31000, APM, Orange Book, IPA), of Quantitative Risk Analysis and associated software (e.g. Safran, @risk, PRA etc.) and comparative experience of risk tools (ARM, Predict!, Risk Controller, riskHive, Xactium) is essential.
