The role is required for continuation of support for HSE governance, assurance and advice whilst the permanent recruitment process is ongoing. The role will focus on major infrastructure and will help with the Head of Delivery in meeting their requirements in forming their new internal structure. Ensure compliance and assurance with relevant UK HSE legislation, focusing mainly on CDM Regulations 2015 Ensure that RRSL Control of Contractor requirements and standards are fulfilled Carry out site audits and inspections of construction related activities Capture relevant LFE and ensure investigations are closed out working with the Project Management team to raise awareness and culture Provide expert guidance and support to project teams on safe working practices Develop robust HSE management systems tailored to major construction projects Monitor the HSE performance of contractor activities in line with CDM 2015Champion a proactive, safety-first culture across all levels of the site team QualificationsProven experience in HSE roles in fissile environments, construction, utilities, site wide enabling works and major infrastructure projects In-depth knowledge and application of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 In depth knowledge and application of the Nuclear Licence Condition Handbook Strong track record of conducting audits, producing reports and identifying practical solutions Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels NEBOSH General Certificate or NEBOSH Construction Certificate (Essential) Additional InformationOur inspired people share our vision and mission.
