Turner & Townsend is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor for our Energy, Power and Infrastructure practice. The role focuses on cost management for large programmes and projects, providing accurate cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting, and driving value engineering and cost control.
Responsibilities
- Suitably qualified & experienced operating at Senior Cost Management level
- Administer a variety of contracts in accordance with project objectives and policies
- Provide accurate project cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting to completion in line with budget
- Pro‑actively monitor and manage cost variance and contract cash flow, ensuring that applications are made correctly and in a timely manner
- Collaborate with client and contractor teams to manage the delivery of project deliverables, KPIs, objectives, programme performance, cost control, and value engineering
- Manage contract change effectively, ensuring projects remain within governance and adopt best practice
- Drive improvements in the accuracy of forecasts and budgets
Qualifications
- Ideally degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant subject
- Ideally hold or be working toward an appropriate professional body membership or equivalent
- Contract Management (NEC3, Option C or NEC4 preferred)
- Experience working on major programmes and projects
- Experience on infrastructure (rail, air, marine/ports, utilities, highways) or energy projects (nuclear, oil & gas, wind or carbon capture)
