Program Overview
Our five‑year Apprentice Development Programme (ADP) gives you the opportunity to grow into a well‑rounded apprentice, accelerating your career from day one. The apprenticeship starts with building internal networks and deepening your understanding of Turner & Townsend and your service area. You’ll receive a structured development plan that introduces key business, technical, and commercial competencies essential for success.
Training & Development
As an Apprentice you’ll be enrolled in a higher‑level apprenticeship. Throughout term time, you’ll spend one day a week learning with trusted partners, while the rest of your time is dedicated to working on commissions, gaining valuable on‑the‑job experience. You’ll also benefit from technical and behavioural training, and have the opportunity to pursue professional qualifications with accredited bodies such as RICS, APM, CMI, IMEA, ICE, and CIOB, depending on your discipline.
Apprenticeship Areas
- Cost and Commercial Management – Level 6 chartered surveyor apprenticeship standard, five years, includes studying for a BSc in Quantity Surveying. On successful completion, you qualify as a Chartered Member (MRICS) of RICS.
- Project Management – Level 6 project manager apprenticeship standard, four years, includes a BSc in Project Management and an IPMA Level D qualification. On successful completion, you become a full member of APM.
- Project Controls – Level 6 project controls professional apprenticeship standard, four years, includes working towards a qualification in project controls. On successful completion, you become a full member of ACostE/ICostE.
Qualifications
You must have the right to live and work in the UK and must have lived in the EEA for the last three years. Five GCSEs, grades 4‑9 (including Maths and English). Three A‑Levels at grade B or above, or equivalent (e.g., BTEQ level 3 grades DDM, 120 UCAS points).

Other Requirements
In some regional roles, the ability to drive may be necessary due to the location of client offices. To be considered for roles in the Defence arena, you will need to pass both a Baseline Personnel Security Standard check and UKSV SC clearance once you have accepted an offer and confirmed your willingness to undergo the checks. SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role where applicable.
