Job Description Owing to continued demand and our ambitious growth plans, we are recruiting Cost Managers with a proven track record in the Energy, Power and Infrastructure sectors. Your experience of setting up and delivering major project programmes will be key to meeting our client ambitions. As a Cost Manager at Turner & Townsend you will work with high‑profile clients, develop your consultancy skills and diversify your sector experience. Job Objectives:
- Suitably qualified & experienced at Cost Management level
- Administer a variety of contracts in accordance with project objectives and policies.
- Provide accurate project cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting to completion in line with budget.
- Proactively monitor and manage cost variance and contract cash flow, ensuring applications are made correctly and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with client and contractor teams to manage delivery of project deliverables, KPIs and objectives, including programme performance, cost control and value engineering.
- Manage contract change effectively, ensuring projects remain within governance and adopt best practice.
- Drive improvements in the accuracy of forecasts and budgets.
Qualifications:
- Ideally Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant subject.
- Ideally hold or be working towards an appropriate professional body membership or equivalent.
- Contract Management (NEC3, Option C or NEC 4 preferred).
- Experience of working on major programmes and projects.
- Experience of working on infrastructure (rail, air, marine/ports, utilities, highways) or energy projects (nuclear, oil & gas, wind or carbon capture).
