Job Description Owing to continued demand and our ambitious growth plans, we are recruiting Cost Managers with a proven track record in the Energy, Power and Infrastructure sectors. Your experience of setting up and delivering major project programmes will be key to meeting our client ambitions. As a Cost Manager at Turner & Townsend you will work with high‑profile clients, develop your consultancy skills and diversify your sector experience. We support career progression both personally and professionally. We support hybrid working and consider part‑time applications.

Job Objectives:

  • Suitably qualified & experienced at Cost Management level
  • Administer a variety of contracts in accordance with project objectives and policies.
  • Provide accurate project cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting to completion in line with budget.
  • Proactively monitor and manage cost variance and contract cash flow, ensuring applications are made correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with client and contractor teams to manage delivery of project deliverables, KPIs and objectives, including programme performance, cost control and value engineering.
  • Manage contract change effectively, ensuring projects remain within governance and adopt best practice.
  • Drive improvements in the accuracy of forecasts and budgets.

Qualifications:

  • Ideally Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant subject.
  • Ideally hold or be working towards an appropriate professional body membership or equivalent.
  • Contract Management (NEC3, Option C or NEC 4 preferred).
  • Experience of working on major programmes and projects.
  • Experience of working on infrastructure (rail, air, marine/ports, utilities, highways) or energy projects (nuclear, oil & gas, wind or carbon capture).
