Due to continued growth across our Infrastructure and Real Estate sectors, Turner & Townsend has an opportunity for a Supply Market Management (SMM) Analyst to join our growing Procurement and Contract Services capability. This role is ideally suited to an early-career professional or developing analyst with a strong interest in market analysis, supply chain intelligence and supply chain strategy within the infrastructure and construction environment.
The Supply Market Management Analyst will support the delivery of best-in-class supply market intelligence, analysis and reporting across major programmes and complex categories. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, the role holder will contribute to market assessments, supplier capability analysis and market engagement activity, helping clients understand supply market capacity, risk, opportunity and emerging trends.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support the development of supply market assessments, intelligence reports and dashboards to inform procurement and commercial strategies.
- Gather, analyse and interpret data relating to supplier capacity, financial health, capability, pipeline workload and market trends.
- Assist in building supply chain models, maps and profiles to identify strengths, weaknesses, risks and opportunities within key markets.
- Produce clear, accurate and timely analysis, written reports and presentation materials for internal and client stakeholders.
- Maintain and manage supply market data sources and analytical tools, ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Support the planning and delivery of market engagement, market sounding and supplier engagement activities, including workshops and events.
- Coordinate meetings, maintain action logs and assist with stakeholder communications to support effective SMM delivery.
- Work collaboratively with procurement, commercial, cost and project teams to integrate market insight into wider strategies.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing, continuous improvement and the development of Turner & Townsend’s SMM capability.

- Experience or placement exposure in supply chain, procurement, market analysis, commercial or infrastructure advisory roles.
- Degree qualified (or working toward) in a relevant discipline such as business, economics, engineering, construction management or supply chain.
- Interest in infrastructure, construction or regulated sectors is desirable.
- Working toward or interest in professional development (e.g. CIPS) is encouraged.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to work confidently with data.
- Ability to structure information and translate analysis into clear insights.
- Good understanding of, or interest in, procurement lifecycles and supply markets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis or visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI desirable).
- Good organisation and time management skills, with attention to detail.
