Job Summary
Turner & Townsend are seeking a Finance Assistant to support their delivery of works in Defence. The role sits within a fast-moving vibrant team that provide support to a range of projects and joint ventures. The individual will be a self-starter, who enjoys working with a range of stakeholders and brings financial administration experience and excel capability.
MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
- To carry out all financial administration related to Turner & Townsend Defence projects, in liaison with the Finance Manager
- Coordinate collation of timesheets, project deliverables and client approvals to support invoicing
- Chasing aged debts to ensure timely cash collection and reconciliation for all cash receipts
- Assisting with financial/project queries from the Client and Suppliers
- Supporting with Project creation, WIP, forecasting and project margin reviews
- Administer and analyse large volumes of sales invoices with acute attention to detail
- Filing and archiving financial documents
- Supporting the Defence finance team with Ad-hoc tasks
REPORTING
This role reports to the Senior Finance Analyst
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
- Sales invoices are produced to the highest quality standards and are completed efficiently and within deadlines
- Key information and data are accurately maintained
- Promote and encourage positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders; including project teams, clients and suppliers
- Strong work ethic and adaptable
Qualifications
- Finance Degree or QBE within an equivalent Finance role
- Immediate in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- Good organisation skills that promote prioritising and meeting deadlines
- Great problem-solving skills
- Experience in administrating large amounts of financial data
- Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 experience is a plus
