We have recently been appointed as Joint Health Delivery Partner (HDP) for the New Hospitals Programme for the NHS.
As we mobilize for this transformative, national, major infrastructure programme, we are recruiting Project Planners to work as part of the HDP’s programmes and controls function.
The Project Planner will work on high-profile hospital construction projects throughout the UK, providing performance reporting and analysis support. Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring schedule data from vendors, suppliers, engineering, and construction contractors is accurately fed into planning systems.
- Maintaining the accuracy and completeness of schedules, providing independent advice on scheduling issues.
- Balancing multiple projects across various locations and contractors.
- Monitoring and tracking the project portfolio schedule.
- Preparing planning contributions for monthly reports and specific presentations.
- Analyzing schedule impacts of variances or change orders.
- Developing resource plans for project phases, highlighting peaks and recommending leveling strategies.
Requirements include:
- Previous experience in project planning within the construction industry.
- Degree education is preferred, with relevant sector experience essential.
- Proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6 is mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills, adherence to processes, and innovative problem-solving abilities are required.
