With exciting growth in the region including new Major Programmes, Projects and Clients, we’re looking for flexible and mobile Planning and Scheduling / Performance Reporting / Risk Management candidates to deliver services in our local region. Travel within the Midlands is required, dependent on the project and can be discussed further during the recruitment process.

Responsibilities

  • Tailoring reporting processes to meet the client’s needs and aligning with best practice.
  • Deliver performance and reporting management plans for our clients based on project requirements, maturity, and best practice.
  • Promoting the benefits and requirements of Performance Reporting & Analytics within the project and programme team.
  • Implementing, administering, and maintaining reporting systems and procedures to track project controls performance.
  • Working with the Integrated Project Team to establish a robust, integrated, well-structured, accurate Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB) and support the change control process.
  • Roll out reporting calendars to ensure a consistent drumbeat of performance data and sufficient time to assure and analyse outputs.
  • Work with project controls to define requirements and data flows for information management systems and supporting our digital teams in their implementation.
  • Lead the development, analysis, and maintenance of corporate datasets.
  • Provide guidance and advice on data quality issues to a wide variety of data providers.
  • Lead material preparation for governance through projects, programmes, portfolios and the enterprise.
  • Identify performance recovery recommendations for relevant stakeholders and management to support effective decision making.
  • Support the project team develop, embed KPIs and contributes to the development of the performance measures dictionary.
  • Develop project performance reports and dashboards, providing recommendations to relevant stakeholders and management to support effective decision making.
  • Lead preparation of presentations and other materials for client governance forums and performance reviews.
  • Contribute towards our national and regional performance & reporting communities including Communities of Practice.
  • Training and coaching clients and less experienced team members on performance and reporting management processes and practices.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a project or programme environment is essential.
  • Understanding of how other aspects of Project Controls (Scheduling, Cost Control, Change Control) interact with Reporting.
  • Demonstrable track record in identifying reporting and data requirements and documenting these using the appropriate types of tools and documentation.
  • Awareness of Project Controls software (Primavera P6, Active Risk Manager, Ecosys etc.) is desirable.
  • Experience in using data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI).
