Due to growing UK demand for our Digital services, we are seeking to recruit a Consultant to provide technical P3M Digital Controls support to clients and contribute to the continued development of our digital capability. We are looking for consultants with a strong interest in digital transformation, who can apply their awareness of P3M principles, reporting, and dashboard development—particularly using Microsoft-based tools such as Power BI and Excel. A working understanding of data structures and data modelling will also be valuable in helping to implement and integrate applications and data that support effective project management and controls.
The Role
- Support the development and delivery of digital controls solutions aligned to P3M frameworks.
- Translate stakeholder needs into actionable reporting and dashboard requirements.
- Build and maintain interactive dashboards using Microsoft Power BI and Excel, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and usability.
- Assist in the integration of data from multiple sources to support project performance tracking and decision‑making.
- Contribute to the design and maintenance of data structures and models that underpin reporting solutions.
- Provide technical guidance to non‑expert users and support adoption of digital tools across project teams.
- Collaborate with colleagues across digital and delivery teams to continuously improve reporting capabilities and data quality.
Skills and Qualifications
- 2-5 years’ experience in a data/reporting analyst role, ideally within a project or programme environment.
- Awareness of P3M principles and project controls practices.
- Strong analytical and numeracy skills, with the ability to interpret and present data effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including use of macros) and Power BI for dashboard development.
- Experience in identifying reporting requirements and documenting them clearly.
- Familiarity with data modelling concepts and data integration across systems.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage stakeholders at various levels.
- Experience in infrastructure sectors such as Defence, Energy & Natural Resources, or Transport & Utilities.
- Exposure to project management tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Understanding of PMO functions and data governance practices.
- Programming experience or interest in languages such as SQL or VBA.
- Relevant qualifications such as PRINCE2, APM, or Microsoft certifications.
