We are seeking a key strategic Project Director level role in our UK Infrastructure business to lead the growth of relationships within the Midlands region and support national initiatives across the UK. The ideal candidate is commercially minded, motivated to cultivate and develop relationships, and has demonstrable experience in leading delivery of commissions at strategic levels with clients.

Qualifications

  • A proven and experienced leader of diverse teams across multi sectors such as Rail, aviation, utilities, power, highways, local authorities.
  • A background in one of Turner & Townsend’s key service lines Project Management, alternatively, an engineering background with in-depth experience of capital programme delivery would be equally applicable.
  • Experience of leading and managing Major Programmes and Projects.
  • Experience in leading and managing teams.
  • Working knowledge of NEC3/4 contracts.
  • Demonstrable experience in successful business generation activities including bidding at all levels, networking, pursuit planning and client engagement and management.
  • Ability to develop and grow client relationships across all levels of an organisation.
  • Procurement, asset management, or advisory (programme set up or performance improvement) would be desirable.
  • Experience of inclusion on both client and internal boards, setting strategy and successfully delivering these including resourcing and growth strategies to deliver growth targets.
