We are seeking enthusiastic Consultants (mid-senior level) to join our Programme Advisory team. If you’re an expert at requirements management and love turning complex challenges into clear, actionable outcomes, this is your chance to shine. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in the aviation and defence sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end strategic leadership in the development, implementation, and governance of requirements management across major programmes.
  • Represent the benefit and requirements function on governance boards and programme reviews.
  • Influence senior stakeholders and facilitate executive decision‑making by providing strategic direction for requirements management.
  • Design and facilitate high‑impact client workshops and executive briefings.
  • Lead workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirements elicitation sessions, advising clients on validation, traceability, change‑control and systems engineering best practices.
  • Integrate requirements management across programme planning, design, engineering, assurance and delivery functions.
  • Oversee the use of tools such as IBM DOORS, Jama, ADO-MR to manage complex requirements sets.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and sponsors.
  • Lead business development initiatives, including major bids and strategic partnerships.
  • Mentor and develop internal capability in requirements management and systems thinking.
  • Contribute to the evolution of Programme Integration methodologies and thought leadership.
  • Support or lead elicitation, documentation, verification, validation, and traceability across the project lifecycle.
  • Drive requirements management processes on complex programmes, ensuring alignment with client goals.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather, analyze, and validate business and technical requirements.
  • Maintain documentation, traceability matrices, and change‑control processes.
  • Design and facilitate client workshops, stakeholder interviews, and presentations.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and engagement.
  • Support bid proposals and business development efforts.
  • Mentor junior team members, fostering their growth and building team capability.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in a consulting or advisory role, ideally within infrastructure or major capital programmes.
  • Degree qualified in a relevant field.
  • Proven track record of leading requirements management at a strategic level across complex, multi‑stakeholder environments.
  • Understanding of requirements engineering standards (e.g., ISO/IEC/IEEE 29148) and hands‑on experience with tools such as DOORS, Jama, JIRA.
  • Experience in programme and/or portfolio management, governance, and assurance.
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience in identifying and securing new business opportunities.
  • Sector experience in infrastructure, transportation, utilities, defence, or related fields.
