As part of the UK HR team, you will provide high‑quality operational HR support across the business, working closely with line managers and employees to offer clear, trusted advice, manage day‑to‑day people matters and support consistent application of policy. You will coordinate People Playbook activities and maintain accurate HR data, ensuring transactional tasks are completed efficiently, accurately and on time. Using good judgement and effective communication, you will build line manager capability and embed practical, inclusive ways of working that enhance engagement and wellbeing.
Key role requirements:
- Provide HR advice to managers, ensuring people matters are handled consistently, compliantly and in line with policy.
- Coordinate and deliver People Playbook activities, ensuring processes are followed, documentation is accurate and communications are timely and clear.
- Manage a range of employee relations cases, escalating more complex or high‑risk matters to the HR Business Partner or Senior HRBP as required.
- Support case work for medical declarations, sickness absence, occupational health referrals and the PHI application process.
- Maintain accurate HR data and documentation, supporting high‑volume transactional activity and ensuring records are up to date and audit‑ready.
- Identify emerging people issues, flagging risks early and supporting managers to resolve them through good practice and consistent application of policy and governance.
- Support capability building for managers, offering practical guidance, coaching on process steps and reinforcing effective ways of working.
- Prepare Peakon engagement reporting for assigned areas, providing insight and tracking follow‑up actions.
- Promote inclusion, engagement and wellbeing, ensuring activities, communications and processes reflect inclusive practice across the business.
- Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement, working collaboratively with colleagues and supporting a smooth, positive employee experience.
- Prepare clear, accurate HR reports and insights, ensuring data integrity and providing timely updates to support decision‑making.
- Support effective communication, helping shape and share people updates for team meetings, manager briefings and divisional communications.
