We are looking for an Early Careers specialist to join our Early Careers Recruitment Team. This is an exciting and fast paced role, and we are looking for someone who is proactive, eager to learn and able to prioritise tasks. The role is part of a small team, responsible for delivering the whole Early Careers recruitment campaign. This role will focus on the whole lifecycle of recruitment, including attraction, selection and onboarding for all early careers hires for the UK business.
Responsibilities
- Attraction
- Collaborating with the business to develop all early careers job descriptions, ensuring they accurately reflect the roles and responsibilities and meet the needs of the business.
- Building all acquisitions on the Attraction Tracking System (ATS), making the relevant changes to screening questions, hiring process and administrative areas of the system according to the job requirements.
- Managing relationships and adverts with external providers, such as gradcracker, to promote the organisation and available roles.
- Developing all email templates to be used throughout the campaign.
- Running virtual attraction events including webinars and online events for potential applicants.
- Assisting with the organisation of, and attend, recruitment events for potential candidates.
- Selection
- Screening initial applications across all graduate and apprentice vacancies.
- Maintaining an updated ATS to ensure all candidates are at the right stage and receive the correct communications.
- Making offers to candidates, talking through opportunities and benefits offered by Turner & Townsend.
- Managing assessment days at different locations across the UK. This includes arranging the days, setting up and managing assessors and candidates on the day.
- Supporting the development of all materials used at the assessment days, including candidate and assessor communications, interview questions and other assessment activities.
- Onboarding
- Working alongside the development team to design and implement the onboarding campaign and run ‘keep warm’ activities.
- Supporting the development team with enrolling graduate and apprentices on to appropriate courses.
- Supporting on the Early Careers’ induction event.
- Working with the business to identify line managers for all new starters to ensure accurate set up on internal systems.
- Managing queries from candidates in relation to starting with Turner & Townsend.
- Developing, deploying and managing the communications plan for all new starters to increase engagement.
- Working with internal groups to organise regional onboarding events.
- Working with the wider HR team to ensure everyone has the correct right to work documentation and are compliant with the current government guidelines.
- Being the point of contact for visa queries, working with the wider HR team to resolve issues.
- Supporting the team to create accounts for all new starters on our HR system (iTrent).
