Collaborate and develop good relationships with clients and stakeholders internally and externally.
Responsible for pre‑ and post‑contract quantity surveying duties including preparation of cost estimates, procurement and tendering, contract administration, variation and final account.
Complete feasibility studies and write procurement reports.
Estimate and cost‑plan, producing and presenting the final cost plan.
Handle tendering and procuring, including managing the pre‑qualification stage, producing the tender list, compiling preliminaries, tender analysis, tender report and contractual documents.
Take personal responsibility for making cost checks and carrying out valuations on larger projects, ensuring timely and accurate cost checking and valuation.
Produce monthly post‑contract cost reports and present them to the client.
Interface with the client and other consultants at all project stages.
SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
