Job Description

Turner & Townsend alinea is hiring an Associate Director to join the MEP Real Estate team to support the growing Real Estate sector.

The role involves working ona variety of Real Estate projectsand masterplans, offering exciting development opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and delegate cost consultant team activities: feasibility estimates, cost planning, contract procurement, tender documentation, tender evaluation, value engineering, commercial awareness, fee generation, dispute resolution, and post-contract management.
  • Promote a safe and secure environment, championing the company's culture.
  • Lead by example to ensure team engagement.
  • Drive performance standards through expert communication and effective use of the performance management process.
  • Work on diverse projects requiring evaluation and problem-solving, advising subordinates on technical issues.
  • Brief the team on project scope to ensure roles and responsibilities are clear.
  • Manage and regulate service delivery to achieve excellence.

Qualifications

  • A proven track record of delivering high quality cost management/quantity surveyingservices within the MEP space
  • Professionally qualified (RICS or similar)
  • Degree or HNC level qualification
  • Ability to successfully manage and prioritise more than one project at a time.
  • Experience in delivering MEP elements of work for clients
  • Knowledge and contacts within the MEP supply chain (tier 1 and below)
  • Utilising digital software for delivery of cost management services
  • Commercially astute with good negotiation skills
