We are looking for an expert Senior Project Manager with a minimum of 7 years post-graduate experience looking for the next step or are currently undertaking a similar role in a similar environment. You will be required to be fully on-site, 4 to 5 days a week.

As Senior Project Manager, you will:

  • Assist the design and construction process including submittal and RFI process and understand how to work with the City on processing Site Applications and all required Permitting.
  • Transcribe meeting minutes and action items and drive each item to closure.
  • Ensure project compliance with client’s document controls and file specifications.
  • Administer project closeout specifications and associated turnover documentation.
  • Regular collaboration and coordination is required with internal resources and design build contractors.
  • Understand, implement, monitor and seek approval for all Change Management documentation.
  • RFI processing.
  • Change order management.
  • Meeting coordination.
  • Punch-list management.
  • Administration of project observation reports.
  • Transition of close-out documentation to operations.
  • Establish and manage all project budgets and schedules throughout the project duration.
  • Manage the requirements to deal with all other Authorities Having Jurisdiction (City, MOE, MOL, TSSA, etc…) and comply with all required code demands.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience as a Project Manager in assisting or supervising construction projects of increasing complexity required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a similar field.
  • PMP certification that allows you to work on projects from project initiation to project closeout and completion.
  • Ability to manage staff, client and all team members effectively.
  • Ability to work with all related construction contracts (ie) CCDC2, CCDC3, CCDC5A and 5B.
  • Possess an understanding of all building and construction code requirements to manage the construction of the project.
  • Possess the ability to negotiate with consultants and contractors alike, contractually and administratively as the project progresses.
  • Experience as Owners representative and Trusted Advisor is an asset.
  • Ground up construction experience.
  • Schedule Management is an asset.
  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Project or P6.
  • Great communication skills with various stakeholders.

The base salary range for this full-time role is $95,000 - $145,000 per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package.

Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
