As a Senior Cost Engineer, you will provide essential services to our clients, including:
- Leading the implementation of cost systems, procedures, and templates.
- Leading project teams to ensure timely, accurate cost reporting, including EAC, ETC, ACWP, and baseline comparisons.
- Monitoring project expenditures to ensure alignment with budgets.
- Preparing detailed financial reports for stakeholders.
- Executing cost re-baseline exercises, forecasting, and updating budgets.
- Analyzing project cost information to support program objectives, including earned value and trend analysis.
- Collaborating with project managers to identify cost-saving opportunities.
You should have professional project controls experience, specializing in senior cost engineering across multiple sectors and project stages. You should be proficient with cost engineering and forecasting tools such as PRISM, EcoSys, or Cobra. Additionally, you should:
- Hold a degree in a relevant technical or management field, or equivalent qualifications and experience.
- Be a member of a relevant professional body, e.g., APM or PMI.
- Possess excellent Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Be capable of effectively communicating cost and performance information to peers and managers.
