Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and analytical PMO Planner to join our growing controls & performance team in London, aiding in the delivery of major programmes. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in planning, monitoring, and controlling large-scale real estate development projects. Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets for major real estate programmes
- Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting of project progress
- Implement and maintain PMO best practices, methodologies, and tools across all projects
- Analyze project data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Prepare and present detailed reports and dashboards to senior management and stakeholders
- Facilitate resource allocation and capacity planning across multiple projects
- Manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Support the development and implementation of project management processes and standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of project goals and objectives
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members on project planning and PMO practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in PMO or project planning roles, preferably in real estate or construction
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and PMO best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
- Experience with project management software and tools
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred; PRINCE2 certification is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Proficient in risk management, resource allocation, and budgeting
- In-depth understanding of the real estate development and construction project management processes
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience in property management is beneficial
