We have a number of exciting opportunities for Director level Project Controls professionals to help deliver across a range of major infrastructure projects and programmes across the UK. Owing to the complex nature of the works involved, these roles will suit Project Controls specialists with proven backgrounds and experience in sectors such as rail, aviation, power, water/utilities, highways or defence.

  • To deliver project controls services, taking responsibility for end to end service delivery, relating to large, complex and mega projects.
  • Monitor and apply performance management techniques, including the use of KPI’s to improve project performance.
  • Lead and Manage Multiple project controls functions including; risk management, schedule management, cost management, scope and change.
  • Influence and guide to senior stakeholders to improve performance.
  • Act as the key, day to day project team interface, ensuring that client objectives are met and these projects are delivered within time and cost targets and to the appropriate quality standards.
  • Involvement in technical services delivery including supporting the centre of expertise in developing and implementing the PMO project controls service.
  • Ensure projects are managed to the right quality standards and are completed efficiently, on time and to budget.
  • Ensure project controls delivery meets the client’s objectives and is in line with the conditions of appointment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Relevant technical degree and management qualifications. Professional experience undertaking project control roles for the development and/or delivery of construction projects.
  • Experience working within planning & scheduling, cost management.
  • Experience of risk management, change control information management and reporting within complex projects, and integration of same.
  • The ability to manage and mentor a team of specialists in the above fields, enabling strong training and development for junior staff members.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
