Turner & Townsend is a leading consultancy in the Infrastructure sector with a thriving UK Estimating team. We are seeking talented Associate Director-level Estimating professionals to support our growth and work on a variety of exciting projects and programmes.
Our team provides a range of estimating services to support client decision-making, including:
- Estimate Production (from Order of Magnitude to detailed estimates)
- Estimating Assurance
- Estimating Support for Major Programme Setup
- Estimating Data
As an Associate Director, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading or managing the production of accurate estimates and cost plans
- Promoting estimating best practices within Turner & Townsend
- Achieving departmental objectives
- Staying updated on technical developments
- Collaborating with Directors on bid construction
- Providing guidance to staff and acting as a role model
- Interfacing with clients and other consultants at all project stages
- Developing new business opportunities
- Identifying cross-selling opportunities
- Managing staff (where appropriate)
- Knowledge management
Qualifications and experience required include:
- Proven estimating management experience
- High-standard qualification in Estimating or Quantity Surveying
- Experience with estimating software packages
- Membership of RICS / CIOB / A. Cost E. (desirable)
- Experience with Major Programmes and Projects
- Experience in the Infrastructure sector (Rail, Air, Power, Highways)
- Leadership and team management skills
