An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join our busy and expanding Manchester office, supporting our clients to deliver projects and programmes in the Healthcare sector, within our Real Estate division.
Main purpose of role
To lead Project Management Commissions, taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery, often with respect to large or complex projects. To act as the key, day to day client interface, ensuring that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality standards.

- Act as the key, day to day client interface, ensuring client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality standards.
- Project management, to include: advising at a strategic level at the project conception stage, establishing the overall success criteria, planning for and management of quality, safety, health and environment, establishing project governance, planning, procurement of resources, leading cross-functional teams, monitoring performance and applying KPIs, managing change control, monitoring finances, managing project information flow, producing formal progress and other reports, and interfacing with the client and other consultants at all project stages.
Scope
Project Managers handle commissions of varying scale and value, typically up to Β£40m in value, with larger projects possible when advisory services (e.g., urban regeneration funding) are involved.
Qualifications and experience
- Degree qualified in relevant discipline
- Professionally qualified (MCIOB / APM or similar)
- Proven experience managing Healthcare projects, ideally in a consultancy environment; candidates from contracting backgrounds will be considered
