Turner Swim are actively recruiting for an enthusiastic Level 2 qualified swimming teacher or coach, with competitive swimming aquatics backgrounds (club level or above) and those who have a real passion for teaching and coaching swimming. We have a reputation of being one of the best providers of swimming lessons in London and the UK. We are therefore looking for additional elite team members. The successful candidates should have intelligence, charisma, enthusiasm and a keenness to learn in order to deliver a 5-star service.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver fantastic one-to-one adult lessons following the Turner Swim programme syllabus and teaching methods.
  • Build a strong relationship with clients, facility staff and management.
  • Expand swimming and triathlon knowledge through attending regular Turner Swim instructor development sessions.
  • Record client's progress.
  • Ensure a safe learning environment is provided for clients, hotel guests and spa staff.
  • Regularly report to management.

  • Level 2 qualified swimming teacher or coach.
  • Competitive swimming aquatic background (club level or above).
  • Passion for teaching and coaching swimming.

About Turner Swim

Turner Swim was founded in 2013 to provide the best quality one-to-one adult swimming tuition in London and is run by a former international aquatic team member. We provide original one-to-one adult swimming lessons at 8 luxury hotels in London – Piccadilly, Waterloo, Tower Bridge, London City, Chelsea, Docklands, Holborn and St Paul’s – and have also expanded to Manchester, Glasgow and Dublin. All instructors are employees, paid PAYE, with a pension scheme, full paid in-house training and a bonus scheme designed to reward the best swimming instructors in the industry.

Role Details

We are advertising for a full-time role starting in March 2026 in a luxury central London hotel teaching adults. Expected earnings of £34,000 to £43,000 per annum. The role is 5 days per week, including 1 weekend workday, and two consecutive days off per week for the lower range of hours, or 5.5 days work for the higher range of hours. This is a great opportunity for the right swimming professionals to work with a broad range of adult clients one-to-one, from people who are water phobic, improving their strokes, through to training triathletes. Ongoing training is provided to enhance your skills as a teacher, including lifesaving, specific open water phobia training, advanced stroke analysis and customer services training.
