We are looking to recruit a Trust Mobile Cleaning and Facilities Officer to join our team covering our schools in predominantly Canterbury and occasionally Dover, accounting for both planned and unplanned staff absences. The successful candidate will be responsible for locking the schools and making all safety checks at the end of the day.
Duties will include:
- Ad-hoc repairs to the school building and grounds
- Inspecting and patrolling the school building and grounds
- Carrying out cleaning duties such as mopping, dusting, vacuuming, emptying bins, cleaning corridors, toilet areas and all related duties
- Moving furniture and using heavy-duty cleaning equipment
You must have a can-do attitude and work well in a team. Previous industrial cleaning experience is essential.
Ideal Candidate
- Experience of facilities and operational functions (desirable)
- Experience of working with, or willing to be trained in the use of Computer Assisted Facilities Management Software (CAPM) (Essential)
- Full Manual UK Driving Licence (Essential)
- Own Transport (Desirable)
- Be reliable and trustworthy
Working Hours & Term
Start date – ASAP. Working 15 hours a week Monday – Friday 16:00 – 19:00. Term time + 4 additional weeks (42 weeks in total).
