This position would suit a Building Surveyor or Project Manager looking to step away from consultancy and take ownership of projects from inception through to completion whilst working closely with asset management and senior stakeholders.
The Role
- Delivering refurbishment and improvement projects across a residential portfolio.
- Managing internal refurbishments, void works, common areas, and external repairs.
- Acting as Contract Administrator under JCT contracts.
- Tendering, appointing, and managing contractors and consultants.
- Undertaking defect diagnosis and providing technical advice.
- Supporting planned maintenance and capital expenditure programmes.
- Advising on Party Wall matters, Licences to Alter, Building Regulations, and statutory compliance.
- Assisting with technical due diligence on acquisitions and investment opportunities.
- Working closely with the asset management team to maximise value across the portfolio.
About the Company
International property business with a substantial London portfolio. Approximately 95% residential with some commercial assets. All properties are company-owned, providing a true client-side environment. Opportunity to influence acquisition decisions and long-term asset strategy. Based in Farringdon, London. Initially 4 days per week in the office, with flexibility increasing over time.
About You
- Building Surveying or Project Management background.
- Experience delivering refurbishment or capital works projects.
- Strong contract administration and stakeholder management skills.
- Residential or mixed-use experience preferred.
- MRICS desirable but not essential.
Package
