This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step in their career with a business known for delivering high quality projects across multiple sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing projects from inception through to completion, working closely with clients and internal teams to ensure successful outcomes. The workload will be primarily residential focused, so experience within this sector would be highly desirable, though not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cost management and quantity surveying services across a range of predominantly residential projects
- Prepare estimates, budgets, cost plans, and tender documentation
- Manage procurement processes and contractor negotiations
- Provide contract administration and post-contract cost control
- Conduct valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Support and mentor junior team members where appropriate
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within consultancy or client-side environments
- Strong knowledge of pre and post-contract duties
- Residential sector experience desirable, but not essential
- Excellent commercial awareness and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively
- MRICS qualified preferred, but not essential
- Driven, professional, and career-focused approach
