The predicted salary is between 40000 - 50000 £ per year.

The successful candidate will have around 5 to 10 years of building surveying experience and will play an important role in delivering a varied workload across both public and private sector clients. You will be involved in a broad mix of professional instructions and project work, working closely with clients, contractors and other consultants while supporting the delivery of high quality technical advice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering a wide range of professional building surveying services
  • Undertaking building inspections, surveys and preparing detailed technical reports
  • Producing defect analysis, schedules of condition and building pathology reports
  • Providing contract administration and project management services
  • Supporting dilapidations, refurbishment and development projects
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Contributing to the continued reputation for technical excellence and service delivery

About You

Essential

  • 5 to 10 years’ experience within building surveying
  • Degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline
  • Part qualified or fully qualified with RICS (MRICS) or CIOB
  • Strong technical and report writing skills
  • Confident managing client relationships
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable

  • Experience working within healthcare, education or public sector projects
  • Contract administration experience
  • Experience delivering refurbishment or development projects
