Turner Property Recruitment are assisting a long-standing client with a key strategic appointment within their Scotland business to lead and grow the Cost Management function. The business has already established an excellent reputation across the built environment sector and has secured a substantial pipeline of work across commercial, industrial, residential, healthcare, regeneration and public sector projects.

As part of their continued growth plans across Scotland, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Cost Management leader who can help shape the future of the business in the region. Importantly, this is not a cold desk. There is already significant work secured, strong existing client relationships and major backing from senior leadership to continue investing in the Scotland operation.

A major attraction of this opportunity is the ability for the successful individual to immediately begin growing their own team. The business is open to supporting strategic hires around this appointment and would absolutely welcome someone capable of bringing trusted individuals or an existing team with them. This is a genuine opportunity to build something substantial within an already successful and growing consultancy platform.

The role will involve:

  • Leading delivery across major client accounts and projects
  • Building and strengthening key client relationships
  • Recruiting, mentoring and growing a Cost Management team
  • Helping shape the long-term Scotland growth strategy
  • Working closely with senior leadership as part of a wider expansion plan
  • Becoming a visible leader within the Scotland market

The opportunity would suit someone currently operating at Associate Director, Director or Head of Cost Management level who is looking for greater autonomy, more influence within a business and the opportunity to genuinely shape and build a regional Cost Management function.
