You will be involved across the full project lifecycle, supporting the delivery of high-quality, sustainable mechanical design solutions while working closely with multidisciplinary teams.
The Role
- Deliver mechanical design as part of a project team from concept through to completion
- Liaise with architects, engineers, surveyors and contractors across project teams
- Attend project and technical meetings
- Ensure designs meet current legislation and health and safety standards
- Advise clients on energy use, sustainability and carbon reduction
- Design building services systems using CAD and BIM tools including Revit
- Carry out condition surveys and produce technical reports
- Support installation, commissioning and maintenance strategy development
About You
- Degree qualified in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering
- Experience in mechanical design within consultancy or contractor environment
- Working towards chartered status or keen to progress
- Proficient in industry software such as IES, Hevacomp, AutoCAD and Revit
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Organised, proactive and keen to develop
