TurnerPropertyRecruitment is pleased to be partnering with a respected independent construction consultancy to appoint a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor (up to Associate Director level can be considered for the right candidate) for its expanding North West team. Candidates can choose between the Warrington, Manchester city centre or Preston office as a base.
This is an outstanding opportunity to join a dynamic and collaborative practice delivering a varied portfolio of healthcare projects across the North West and beyond. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing full pre- and post-contract cost management services, working closely with NHS trusts, private healthcare providers, design teams and contractors.
Responsibilities
- Cost planning and estimating
- Procurement and tender management
- Contract administration
- Valuation and change control
- Preparation of final accounts
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while contributing to the growth of the healthcare sector within the business
Qualifications
- Demonstrable quantity surveying experience within the healthcare sector
- Excellent commercial acumen and strong communication skills
- Chartered status (MRICS) or progression towards chartership is desirable but not essential
