Turner Property Recruitment are pleased to be working with a well-established and growing property consultancy in the search for a Graduate Building Surveyor to join their Preston office. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious graduate to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking consultancy environment. The successful candidate will gain exposure to a broad range of commercial and residential surveying instructions while receiving structured APC support and mentorship from experienced Chartered Surveyors.

The Role

Working as part of an experienced building consultancy team, you will assist in delivering a wide variety of professional and project-led surveying services across multiple property sectors. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with condition surveys, defect diagnosis and technical inspections
  • Supporting the delivery of refurbishment and maintenance projects
  • Preparing schedules of work and specifications
  • Assisting with contract administration duties
  • Supporting dilapidations and landlord & tenant instructions
  • Preparing reports and maintaining accurate project documentation
  • Building strong relationships with clients and internal teams

Candidate Requirements

  • Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a related discipline
  • Ideally working towards APC and MRICS qualification
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Proactive and enthusiastic approach to career development
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
